Al-Sa'adah Park

Overview

A neighborhood park in Riyadh designed as a daily extension of the surrounding community's life, combining a children's play area, tree-shaded walking paths, and small seating courts distributed around the site's perimeter.

Concept

The site is organized around a dense, tree-lined central axis that separates active play areas from the park's quieter edges, framed by a perimeter of parking and pavement that defines the park against the surrounding street.

Design Approach

Dense planting provides natural shade throughout the day, with clearly paved paths linking the play area to the side courts and the parking edge.
